‘He himself bore our sins’ in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by his wounds you have been healed.’(1 Pet 2:24) As intercessors we announce forgiveness of sins and healing of wounds to all the people of Qatar in Jesus name.
On Easter Friday, when Jesus died, the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. Thank you, Father for giving us access to the Holy of holies at your throne. May many people of Qatar enter in, we pray. (Matthew 27:51)
Jesus, we ask for a church planting movement in Qatar today. Nothing is impossible for you. Please start small groups in homes, on university campuses, and other places that will multiply across the nation. Amen!
Father we lift up Qatar to you and ask that You would reveal yourself to those who are seeking. Give dreams and visions of Jesus. Tune TVs to Christian satellite programs. May young people find Christian websites that give answers and hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Father, we lift up the church pastors in Qatar today. We ask that you would speak into their lives and direct their paths. May they know what is on Your heart for Qatar. Give them a passion for bringing believers in Qatar together for worship, prayer, teaching and fellowship. Give them a vision for reaching Qatar with your Gospel.
Lord God we thank you that You have set up the times and the season; You set up kings and dispose of them. You give wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. Lord, today we thank You that you sent the King Of Kings to deliver all people, and Your wisdom to all who seek You with their whole heart.
We thank you Jesus for coming to earth as a human being! We give you praise, glory and honor. May Qatari nationals join to sing your praises.
In the coming days we celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus the King of Kings. May He come again soon and be born in many hearts as we start celebrating his birth which brought the kingdom of God near to every heart. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24) Thank you that we can ask for things and be confident that you will answer them, Lord. We ask for your protection over your Believers in Qatar. We pray that you will give them courage instead of fear. And wisdom to know how you want them to witness for you and serve you.
We pray for the Church to truly be the salt and light in the country of Qatar. May every Christian add flavor to their environment and shine your light where there is darkness. (Matthew 5:13-16)
Thank you Father for the small, but growing, number of believers in Qatar. We know its not an easy place to be a follower of Jesus, so we ask you to strengthen them and protect them. We ask that you grow them in love and fellowship with each other. We pray that you will give them opportunities this week to share the Gospel with someone who is hungry to know.
