May They Behold Him

“I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob; a scepter will rise out of Israel.” Numbers 24:17   We pray for the people of Qatar to see you Lord, Jesus, King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The Church Will Grow

“Our FATHER who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come and Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven” Luke 11:2-4 Heavenly Father, give Your children in Qatar the assurance YOUR will is that the bounds of the gospel-church be enlarged; the kingdom of the world be made Christ’s kingdom, and all men live with the character of Christ embedded in their hearts.

His Love Endures Forever

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” —Lamentations 3:22-23   Steadfast: firm, fixed in place, unwavering.   The Lord’s love for Qatar is steadfast. His heart is resolutely committed to this country.   Lord, display your steadfast love in the lives of individuals and families. Magnify your mercy in the darkest situations. There is no end to hope in You. As the sun rises over Qatar, may many wake up with a fresh revelation of you, the One who is faithful and true.

The Father: the Source of All Our Needs

“Our FATHER who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come and Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread” —Luke 11:2-4   We need God in all areas of our life (physical, spiritual and mental), and this is a daily need. We need to come back to God daily, many times each day and many ways, for we can quickly become independent and self-seeking.   Father we pray that You will meet these daily needs of the people of Qatar and be their sustenance. May they turn…

The Pursuit of Truth

“When [Jesus] was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. They asked each other, ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?’” —Luke 24:30-32   Pray for people in Qatar who have started to read the scriptures and are pursuing truth.   Pray for those who are drawn to Jesus. Pray also for those who are reading the Old and…

Our Redeemer Lives

For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth! JOB 19:25   Our God and our Redeemer, praise You that as YOUR word says, You will come again!   Thank you that we will be change and we have a future and a hope! Reveal yourself to the peoples of Qatar that they too will look forward and long for your appearing.

Like Incense Up to You, Lord

So Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the midst of the assembly. The plague had already started among the people, but Aaron offered the incense and made atonement for them. He stood between the living and the dead, and the plague stopped. —Numbers 16:48   Father, as intercessors for Qatar, we offer our prayers like incense before your throne for this nation today. We stand just as Aaron between the living and the dead because we desire more people to be saved and become alive in Christ Jesus.

Predestined for Your Work, Lord

In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will. Ephesians 1:11   Lord Jesus, we ask that we along with the people of Qatar look at life through purpose-colored lenses. May we see everything from God’s perspective. Trust that He is acting “according to the counsel of His will.   “If life is an accident, it cannot conceivably have any purpose, for accident and purpose are mutually exclusive.”   John Blanchard

Longing for Jesus

What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul? Lord Jesus we know the people of Qatar have a desire in their souls longing for God to fill it, and we ask IN JESUS’S name that they receive the desire and in essence gain eternity with you!

Revelation for all of Qatar

“I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’ —Isaiah 65:1   Go before the Father and pray:   Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to the nation of Qatar. Lord they are not seeking You, they are not asking for You, but Lord we are asking on their behalf that You may be found by them. Lord, You are there, You are there, You can be found by…

Speak Lord

“Prayer is nourished and flourishes when it is firmly rooted in the creative and redemptive word of the living God.” – Eugene Peterson Today, as we pray for Qatar, start your prayers by asking God to give you a Scripture to pray from. Read through the Scripture three times slowly, asking God to show you how to turn that Scripture into a prayer. An example: “I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work.” God’s Decree. “For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you…
