Hajj Begins

Today is the start of the Haij, or pilgrimage to Mecca that every Muslim needs to make once in a lifetime. Many, including those in Qatar, will do the journey to either be ‘closer’ to God and experience him or receive healing from disease. It goes on until the 14th of September.   ‘Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ‘I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD —Jeremiah 29:12-14   Lord,…

Water in the Desert

Father, it is our prayer that you will open the eyes of the Muslim people in Qatar to see the well of living water in the desert. We declare that you, Lord Jesus, are the living water that everyone needs. (Gen 21:19)

Ramadan 2016 Begins

We pray, Lord, that you will reveal yourself to all Muslims in Qatar during this month of Ramadan; that you will be found by those who did not seek you initially, to a nation that did not call on you name. In Jesus name! (Isaiah 65:1)

Revelation for all of Qatar

“I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.’ —Isaiah 65:1   Go before the Father and pray:   Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to the nation of Qatar. Lord they are not seeking You, they are not asking for You, but Lord we are asking on their behalf that You may be found by them. Lord, You are there, You are there, You can be found by…

Speak Lord

“Prayer is nourished and flourishes when it is firmly rooted in the creative and redemptive word of the living God.” – Eugene Peterson Today, as we pray for Qatar, start your prayers by asking God to give you a Scripture to pray from. Read through the Scripture three times slowly, asking God to show you how to turn that Scripture into a prayer. An example: “I don’t think the way you think. The way you work isn’t the way I work.” God’s Decree. “For as the sky soars high above earth, so the way I work surpasses the way you…

Father, What is Your Prayer?

“The task is not to get God to do something I think needs done, but to become aware of what God is doing so that I can participate in it.” —Eugene Peterson   Father God, I don’t want to tell you what to do in Qatar today according to my good ideas. I want to listen to you. I want to hear what is on your heart for Qatar today. And that is what I want to pray back to you. In this way, I know that you will do what I ask in Your Name, Jesus. Still my heart…

The Lord Has Not Given You a Spirit of Fear

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you! ’ —John 20:19   Lord Jesus, Emmanuel, we pray against the spirit of fear among your children in Qatar. May all your disciples experience your supernatural presence and peace every day.
