Month: August 2015 - Pray For Qatar

Jesus Loves The Little Children

Father, we pray for children in Qatar today. May you give them dreams and visions of Jesus. Thank you that children have faith that allows them to hear Jesus. We pray for children who are living on the streets, or are sent out to beg by their families. Protect them from evil people who would want to exploit them. Protect them from hopelessness and don’t let them slip into drug abuse. Raise up more organizations who will care for street kids in Qatar. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen!

Back to School

We pray for the education system in Qatar. We ask for the development of good education for children and youth.  Raise up teachers who have soft hearts for children. We ask for the development of higher education that will give young people a good start in life and open up job opportunities for them. Amen.

The Lord of Lords

Lord God, you are the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the eternal, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory to you for ever and ever. May more and more Qataris join in praising you. (1 Timothy 1:17)

Jesus, the Liberator

Father, we know that in Qatar human trafficking and forced labor (such as maid slaves to wealthy Gulf families) are big issues. We are horrified at this evil industry that makes money from the vulnerability of people. We ask, in Jesus’ name, that his industry be exposed and broken apart. We ask Your protection on those who are vulnerable. And we ask that you would set people free! Amen! “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to the yoke of slavery.” (Galatians 5:1)

Equipping His Servants

“All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17) Lord, we pray for the training of national leaders in the Qatari church, that they would have access to the materials and mentors necessary for bringing new believers into your fold and encouraging existing Church members. Amen

The Good Shepherd

We pray today for Qataris to recognize you, Lord Jesus, as the Good Shepherd, the only shepherd who laid down his life and cares for his sheep. You strengthen the weak, bind up the injured, heal the sick, bring back the strays and search for the lost ones. (John 10:10)
