Month: October 2015 - Pray For Qatar

The Lord Almighty is King

Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty he is the King of glory. —Psalms 24:7-10 As intercessors, we proclaim doors and hearts to open for the King of Glory in Jesus name. Come Lord, and fill the country of Qatar with…

Open Doors

Today we ask you God, in the name of Jesus, to open doors of opportunity, God ordained encounters and divine appointments for those believers in Qatar to speak life into the lives of the lost. We ask for your hedge of protection around them both day and night.

A Unified Body

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind (1 Peter 3:8) We pray for this kind of love and unity among the believers in Qatar, both expat and Qatari.  May it be a testimony to God’s love. Amen!

We Will Wait Upon the Lord

Strength will rise as we wait upon the Lord (Isaiah 40:31). May this promise be real and true to followers of Jesus in Qatar this week. We ask you to lift them up and renew them. Amen!

God Always Answers

Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours. (Mark 11:24) Thank you that we can ask for things and be confident that you will answer them, Lord. We ask for your protection over your Believers in Qatar. We pray that you will give them courage instead of fear. And wisdom to know how you want them to witness for you and serve you.

The Future of Our Youth

The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) Jesus, we thank you for coming to earth so that all people can choose life and live an abundant life through you. We pray for all the young people in Qatar, to choose you and be saved from destruction and eternal death.

A City on a Hill, the Salt of the Earth

We pray for the Church to truly be the salt and light in the country of Qatar. May every Christian add flavor to their environment and shine your light where there is darkness. (Matthew 5:13-16)

Though I Walk Through The Valley

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4) Father today we cry out with the believers in Qatar that feel like they are walking through a valley. You hear their cry and lift them out of the pit of despair and set their feet on sold ground. Give them a song in their heart of praise to God and may many see what You have done and be amazed. May they talk of your loving-kindness and your faithfulness. You alone…

Strengthen Your Church

Thank you Father for the small, but growing, number of believers in Qatar. We know its not an easy place to be a follower of Jesus, so we ask you to strengthen them and protect them. We ask that you grow them in love and fellowship with each other. We pray that you will give them opportunities this week to share the Gospel with someone who is hungry to know.

Harvest of the Nations

We ask that You, God of Heaven and Earth, Maker of all things, and the Ruler of the nations, would prepare the leader and government of Qatar for a mighty harvest that will come. As we pray with expectation for the Church to grow all across the Arab Gulf countries, we also pray in advance that Your Holy Spirit will prepare the hearts and minds of the leaders of these nations. May they respond with wisdom, grace, acceptance and kindness. Amen!

Finding True Wealth

“Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” (Matthew 19:24) Qatar is filled with many affluent and wealthy people. Pray that the materialism would decrease. Pray that the wealthy would feel an emptiness from all of the money and objects they buy. They may have all of their needs met with money but pray that they would recognize their spiritual need of a savior. May they realize that nothing this world offers can bring them true fulfillment but that…

A Mighty Harvest

Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.  —Hebrews 11:1 Thank you, Jesus, that we can have faith that you are doing a mighty work all across Qatar. You are not content with only a handful of people who know and follow you.  You desire a multitude of Qatari nationals before your throne. Today, we ask for a mighty harvest in Qatar!
