Praying for Religious Leaders
We pray for religious leaders in Qatar to be confronted with the truth about Jesus. May they have soft hearts, and ready minds to listen and receive understanding. May they begin to lead others in the search for Jesus.

Father, we lift up the church pastors in Qatar today. We ask that you would speak into their lives and direct their paths. May they know what is on Your heart for Qatar. Give them a passion for bringing believers in Qatar together for worship, prayer, teaching and fellowship. Give them a vision for reaching Qatar with your Gospel.
In recent years there has been a growing awareness of human rights abuses in Qatar. Secular or nominal Muslim rights advocates have been speaking out against these abuses. Today, we invite you to pray for these human rights advocates. Pray that they may come to know Jesus as their Savior. Pray also that they will have wisdom in their work. May they know what issues to tackle and whom to work together with. Pray for their protection from people with more extreme religious views.
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done in Qatar as it is in heaven (Matt 6:10). As co-heirs with Christ Jesus, we ask of you the nation of Qatar as an inheritance, because You promised the ends of the earth as our possession (Ps 2:8; Rom 8:17). Your Word teaches that people from every nation, tribe, country and language were bought by the blood of Jesus. In front of your throne a multitude from every nation, tribe, people and language in Qatar will be standing, wearing white robes and holding palm branches…
Lord Jesus, today we say along with the psalmist David, and on behalf of the people of Qatar, that You alone are our light and salvation – whom shall we fear? The Lord is the stronghold of our life – of whom shall we be afraid? When evil men advance and enemies attack, they will stumble and fall; my heart will not fear. One thing we ask of the Lord and this we seek – that we may dwell in the house of the Lord.
