Here Comes Another Wave of Revival

“Revival is just you and me walking along the highway in complete oneness with the Lord Jesus and with one another, with cups continually cleansed and overflowing with the life and love of God” – Roy Hession, “The Calvary Road”   Revival is a state of abiding. Revival is constant connection with God that leads to God-filled connections between people. We need revival in Qatar. We long for Jesus to be glorified as His life overflows in and through us.   Father we pray that believers (expat and local) in Qatar would encounter God powerfully, in complete unity. We pray…

The Bread of Life

iftar qatar

Jesus declared: “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty.” Come people of Qatar, taste and see, the Lord is good! (John 6:35, Ps 34:8)

The Fruit of the Spirit

“Prayer is nourished and flourishes when it is firmly rooted in the creative and redemptive word of the living God.” – Eugene Peterson   Today, as we pray for Qatar, start your prayers by asking God to give you a Scripture to pray from. Read through the Scripture three times slowly, asking God to show you how to turn that Scripture into a prayer. An example:   “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” —Galatians 5:22-23   Father, I pray today that your Church…

Praying for the Seekers

Father we lift up Qatar to you and ask that You would reveal yourself to those who are seeking. Give dreams and visions of Jesus. Tune TVs to Christian satellite programs. May young people find Christian websites that give answers and hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

That We May Carry Out Your Holy and True Command

O Most High, Glorious God, enlighten the darkness of my heart and give me a right faith, a certain hope, and a perfect love, understanding and knowledge, O Lord, that I may carry out your holy and true command. Amen.   —Francis of Assissi   Pray this for our brothers and sisters in Qatar. May the Light of Jesus be in the midst of the darkness. May they be filled with faith, hope, love, understanding, knowledge and obedience to the Word of God.

God So Loved the World

Almighty God, You so loved the world that You gave Your one and only Son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. You did not send Your Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him (John 3:16-17). It is not Your will that the wicked will die, but that they will repent and turn form their wicked ways and live (Ezek 18:23). Jesus, You are the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world (John 1:29). Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray that…

A Unified Body

Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind (1 Peter 3:8) We pray for this kind of love and unity among the believers in Qatar, both expat and Qatari.  May it be a testimony to God’s love. Amen!

Though I Walk Through The Valley

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” (Psalm 23:4) Father today we cry out with the believers in Qatar that feel like they are walking through a valley. You hear their cry and lift them out of the pit of despair and set their feet on sold ground. Give them a song in their heart of praise to God and may many see what You have done and be amazed. May they talk of your loving-kindness and your faithfulness. You alone…

Strengthen Your Church

Thank you Father for the small, but growing, number of believers in Qatar. We know its not an easy place to be a follower of Jesus, so we ask you to strengthen them and protect them. We ask that you grow them in love and fellowship with each other. We pray that you will give them opportunities this week to share the Gospel with someone who is hungry to know.

Protect Your Church

Lord Jesus, we pray for the protection of the Church in Qatar. Guard them like the apple of your eye and hide them in the shadow of your wings. (Psalms 17:8)
