Month: March 2016 - Pray For Qatar

Christ is Risen! He is risen indeed! Hallelujah! Praying that many will have their eyes opened to the Savior Jesus Christ today!    

‘He himself bore our sins’ in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by his wounds you have been healed.’(1 Pet 2:24)   As intercessors we announce forgiveness of sins and healing of wounds to all the people of Qatar in Jesus name.    

On Easter Friday, when Jesus died, the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom. Thank you, Father for giving us access to the Holy of holies at your throne. May many people of Qatar enter in, we pray. (Matthew 27:51)    

‘Do not say, Four months more and then the harvest? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.’ (John 4:35)   Father, today we pray for a hundred fold harvest of souls in Qatar.

Lord Jesus, we pray that many in Qatar will realize today, just like the centurion at the cross, that you are truly the Son of God. Reveal yourself to the lost we pray. (Mark 15:39)

‘I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life,’ —Deut.30:19-20   Father, we pray that the people of Qatar will choose you, the Author of Life.

Today we are asking God for favor for expatriate Christians who live and work in Qatar. May they make friends with nationals. May their businesses and NGOs have success. May they show themselves to be trustworthy to the nationals. May God provide for all their financial needs. May they experience good health and safety.   How else does God lead you to pray? What other blessings can you pray over them?

Father God, our prayer is to prepare the soil in Qatar, so that the seeds of your Word sown over the centuries will grow and produce a hundred fold crop. Water the seeds with your Living Water and shine your face over the harvest, in Jesus name. (Mark 4:20)    

These (foreigners) I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in my house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar; for my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations. —Isaiah 56:7   Lord, we know that you love all people and want to all nations to be part of your house. We pray that those in Qatar will experience the joy of being part of Father’s house.

We pray for children in Qatar today. Thank you that You love and value children and never turn them away. We ask that you would give children dreams of Jesus that they will hold on to until they can hear about and know who Jesus is.

“But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him.” (Luke 15:20)   Father, we pray that many sons and daughters (old and young alike) in Qatar will turn and run into your loving arms, just as the lost son did.
