We Are Not Ashamed, For the Gospel is the Power of God to Save

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the (people in Qatar). For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17   Heavenly Father give Your children in Qatar the boldness and power to be unashamedly bold in their faith of You. May they be fishers of men.

The Lord Has Not Given You a Spirit of Fear

On the evening of that first day of the week, when the disciples were together, with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus came and stood among them and said, ‘Peace be with you! ’ —John 20:19   Lord Jesus, Emmanuel, we pray against the spirit of fear among your children in Qatar. May all your disciples experience your supernatural presence and peace every day.

He Bore Our Sins

‘He himself bore our sins’ in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by his wounds you have been healed.’(1 Pet 2:24)   As intercessors we announce forgiveness of sins and healing of wounds to all the people of Qatar in Jesus name.

Back to School

We pray for the education system in Qatar. We ask for the development of good education for children and youth.  Raise up teachers who have soft hearts for children. We ask for the development of higher education that will give young people a good start in life and open up job opportunities for them. Amen.

CHILD REARING and the MORAL COMPASS Parents everywhere are concerned about raising their children well. Qatari parents, religious or not, are no exception. Because Islam is based on a moral code, even the irreligious often want to teach their children religious values. . Each family is different. Some parents take extreme measures to protect their children from evil, fearing their children will be exposed to too many damaging influences at too young an age. One such family only allows their children to interact with extended family or the hired nanny so their children internalize family behaviors and culture. Another parent rarely allows…

PSALM 78:1-8

In Qatar, 26% of the population is 24 years old and younger; that’s just over a quarter of the population. We teach our children everything they are to know in life, from caring for themselves, to how to function in the society and culture they live in, to behaviors, to literacy and how to learn and think for themselves. Young people have the greatest capacity to absorb information and learn, and they are the most shapeable when it comes to their thinking, thoughts and opinions. It is so critical that the younger generation of Qatar comes to salvation in Jesus…

“Children are our most valuable resource.” –Herbert Hoover As you know, teaching children values, skills and ideas is how societies continue on. We pass on our knowledge to children in hopes that they will create a better world to live in. Children are the future of all societies. Pray for the children of Qatar today. Pray that they would come to salvation in Jesus Christ and that they will change the face of Qatar.

As you read this psalm, pray these things: That God’s way would be made known in Qatar That all who live in Qatar would come to praise Him That people in Qatar would worship Jesus as Lord That God would bless Qatari believers Psalm 67 1 May God be merciful and bless us.     May his face smile with favor on us. Interlude 2 May your ways be known throughout the earth,     your saving power among people everywhere. 3 May the nations praise you, O God.     Yes, may all the nations praise you. 4 Let the whole world sing for joy,     because you govern the nations…

“If you found a cure for cancer, wouldn’t it be inconceivable to hide it from the rest of mankind? How much more inconceivable to keep silent the eternal wages of death?” Pray that Christians in Qatar would receive boldness from the Holy Spirit to share the gospel message with those around them.

“Your whole life is to be overmastered by Me; you are to have no end, no aim, and no purpose but Mine.” –from Oswald Chamber’s, My Utmost for His Highest. We know that as believers in Jesus Christ our purpose in life is to serve God’s purpose–that all may hear the truth of His redemption and come salvation in Him. In Matthew 28, Jesus commissions us to go and make disciples of all peoples. Be involved in God’s mission by praying for Qatar. Ask God if He is calling to you give or to go to those who haven’t heard…

“Paul was not given a message or a doctrine to proclaim, he was brought into a vivid, personal, overmastering relationship to Jesus Christ. …Paul was devoted to a Person not to a cause. He was absolutely Jesus Christ’s, he saw nothing else, he lived for nothing else.” —Oswald Chambers Pray that everyone in Qatar would become wholly and completely Jesus Christ’s.
