The Father: the Source of All Our Needs

“Our FATHER who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come and Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread” —Luke 11:2-4   We need God in all areas of our life (physical, spiritual and mental), and this is a daily need. We need to come back to God daily, many times each day and many ways, for we can quickly become independent and self-seeking.   Father we pray that You will meet these daily needs of the people of Qatar and be their sustenance. May they turn…

Peace and Favor

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” Luke 2:12-13   Lord Jesus, you deserve all the glory. Thank you for your promise of peace and favor to all people. We ask that you open the eyes of the people of Qatar to experience that peace and favor.

Forgiveness

“Our FATHER who art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come and Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. Forgive our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us” —Luke 11:2-4   This is not a plea of merit, but a plea of grace. Father God we recognize that you are the ultimate forgiver in sending Your son to die in our place.   We pray for the people of Qatar to accept this wonderful offer of forgiveness You have for them and may they in…

Dreams and Visions

Over the past years thousands of Muslims have met Jesus through dreams and visions. Many have put their faith in HIM. Take a few minutes today and ask the Holy Spirit to pour out more of HIS dreams and visions to Muslims in Qatar.   Father, we also pray for the Church in Qatar to be prepared to love and nurture these newborn ones who put their trust and entire life in YOUR mighty hands.

Hajj Begins

Today is the start of the Haij, or pilgrimage to Mecca that every Muslim needs to make once in a lifetime. Many, including those in Qatar, will do the journey to either be ‘closer’ to God and experience him or receive healing from disease. It goes on until the 14th of September.   ‘Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ‘I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD —Jeremiah 29:12-14   Lord,…

Water in the Desert

Father, it is our prayer that you will open the eyes of the Muslim people in Qatar to see the well of living water in the desert. We declare that you, Lord Jesus, are the living water that everyone needs. (Gen 21:19)

He Bore Our Sins

‘He himself bore our sins’ in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; ‘by his wounds you have been healed.’(1 Pet 2:24)   As intercessors we announce forgiveness of sins and healing of wounds to all the people of Qatar in Jesus name.

Plant Your Church, Lord

Jesus, we ask for a church planting movement in Qatar today. Nothing is impossible for you. Please start small groups in homes, on university campuses, and other places that will multiply across the nation. Amen!

May Christ come Again

The Son of God

Lord Jesus, we pray that many in Qatar will realize today, just like the centurion at the cross, that you are truly the Son of God. Reveal yourself to the lost we pray. (Mark 15:39)

Boldness in Dark Places

As intercessors for Qatar, Lord, we pray for your chosen and priesthood there. Give them boldness to declare your praises in the country so that more precious ones will be rescued from darkness and brought into your marvelous light. (1 Peter 2:9)
