Peace and Favor

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.” Luke 2:12-13   Lord Jesus, you deserve all the glory. Thank you for your promise of peace and favor to all people. We ask that you open the eyes of the people of Qatar to experience that peace and favor.

The Enemy Will Lose

May the Lord crush Satan and the plans of the enemy under his feet today, in Jesus name.

Thirsty Land

For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour out my Spirit on your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants. —Isaiah 44:3   Father, we ask you pour out Your Spirit on Qatar and may their descendants be blessed.

The Sword of the Spirit

Thank you, Lord for the double edge sword of the Spirit, your Word, your divine power with which strongholds in Qatar can be demolished. With the authority given us, we want to ‘plunge’ your Word into the situation in the country, in Jesus name. Be glorified, Lord in the nation!   Photo credit: A. Sergeev

Here Comes Another Wave of Revival

“Revival is just you and me walking along the highway in complete oneness with the Lord Jesus and with one another, with cups continually cleansed and overflowing with the life and love of God” – Roy Hession, “The Calvary Road”   Revival is a state of abiding. Revival is constant connection with God that leads to God-filled connections between people. We need revival in Qatar. We long for Jesus to be glorified as His life overflows in and through us.   Father we pray that believers (expat and local) in Qatar would encounter God powerfully, in complete unity. We pray…

Eid Al-Adha

“The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, ‘Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!’” John 1:29   “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16   Monday, September 12th, Muslims in Qatar and around the world celebrate “Greater Bairam” or the Feast of Sacrifice, Eid al-Adha. In celebration many Muslims go to pilgrimage in Mecca, fast the coming 10 days and on today they will be slaying and offering sacrifices like…

Hajj Begins

Today is the start of the Haij, or pilgrimage to Mecca that every Muslim needs to make once in a lifetime. Many, including those in Qatar, will do the journey to either be ‘closer’ to God and experience him or receive healing from disease. It goes on until the 14th of September.   ‘Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. ‘I will be found by you,’ declares the LORD —Jeremiah 29:12-14   Lord,…

Water in the Desert

Father, it is our prayer that you will open the eyes of the Muslim people in Qatar to see the well of living water in the desert. We declare that you, Lord Jesus, are the living water that everyone needs. (Gen 21:19)

The God Who Sees

Father, we thank you that you hear the people of Qatar who want to know you better. We pray that many will be able to say like Hagar: “You are the God who sees me.” (Gen 16:13)

The Fruit of the Spirit

“Prayer is nourished and flourishes when it is firmly rooted in the creative and redemptive word of the living God.” – Eugene Peterson   Today, as we pray for Qatar, start your prayers by asking God to give you a Scripture to pray from. Read through the Scripture three times slowly, asking God to show you how to turn that Scripture into a prayer. An example:   “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.” —Galatians 5:22-23   Father, I pray today that your Church…

The Women Seeking God

‘Mary Magdalene went to the disciples with the news: ‘I have seen the Lord! ’ And she told them that he had said these things to her. ’ —John 20:18 Lord, your ways are truly not our ways and your thoughts not ours. Thank you for breaking the cultural code of the time and appeared first to a woman who was seeking you outside the tomb. We pray for all the seeking women in Qatar to see you as the Risen Lord.

Christ is Risen

Christ is Risen! He is risen indeed! Hallelujah! Praying that many will have their eyes opened to the Savior Jesus Christ today!
